Featuring a 12" woofer and 2000 watts of peak power (1000 watts program), the NX55P-2 is the most powerful speaker in the NX series. The rear panel features a master level control, a selectable LF roll off for use with a subwoofer or as a vocal monitor, and a switchable onboard mixer section. When enabled, this provides an XLR microphone input and 1/4" line inputs with level controls and 2-band EQ. Link inputs and outputs provide balanced connectivity to other cabinets. Up to three onboard mixers can be active in a linked system, providing up to three mic and six line inputs without requiring an external mixer. The NX55P-2's inputs and controls are well-protected, so it can be used in any orientation. It was carefully designed for low operating temperatures and reduced heat production to be placed close to walls, floors, and other speakers.
