Description: This WW2 British Army Parachute Regiment KC Para Wings Beret Cap Badge is in good condition overall but does show expected evidence of age, service and storage. No markings can be found on this badge which appears to be typical for early production examples. The badge is made of a "White Metal" alloy and appears to have trace amounts of a Nickel finish remaining. The details of the feathers and parachute ropes are strong and clear as is the King's Crown. A small amount of what appears to be red paint is present on the upper left wing, it has been left exactly as it was found. The pin fastener lugs are each securely attached and function just as you would expect. This badge would make a fine addition to any advanced British Military or WW2 collection and would be difficult to upgrade.
