Standard pattern of woven white rayon construction with black printed Gothic script, which reads "Hilfs=Krankentrger", (Auxiliary Stretcher Bearer). The script is encompassed by a black printed, rectangular border. Both the top and bottom edges of the armband have a dual-ply, machine stitched hem and the verso has a central, machine stitched vertical seam.
