Description: Presented is a wonderful sterling silver vase from the early 1900s Arts and Crafts period, certainly made in the US. This piece displays a great hand hammered finish with stylized leaf details around the base and top edge. The vase is of heavy gauge construction with a substantial weight. This piece is a bit offbeat in its making, as the decorative band around the top does not connect fully on one side, as seen in the second photo. The artisan who made this vase was not a professional silversmith. There are no hallmarks, consistant with an amateur craftsman. Tested and guaranteed to be sterling silver. The vase is in great overall condition. There are a few solder marks on the base just above the decorations. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs. Measurements: 4 3/4 inches in diameter at is widest point and 7 1/4 inches tall Weight: 700 grams or 24.7 ounces -kc Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
