Description: Beautiful pastel painting work of crane skimming the water at sunset. I am guessing this beautifully done work to be from the 1940’s to 1950’s based on artist materials and framing. I believe the frame to be original or certainly from same period. I removed the work from the frame to clean the glass. When you review the pics you will see where when handling the work care is needed as the artist did not use a fixative. This is not a bad or a good thing. Many artists prefer not to use fixative. The framed work measures 24.5” x 17”. The period, all wood frame is really beautiful and serves the art work well. A very calming piece to contemplate. Please see pics as they are considered part of the description. All questions welcome.
