Description: a recent estate find... i believe this is of a 1950's vintage. "W.R. DERBY of SAN FRANCISCO" Jacket. looks rarely worn. The later bomber style of Derby jacket made famous by Steve McQueen in "Bullit" was emblematic of working class S.F. and is a classic vintage design. This earlier model of Derby jacket is much more scarce and rarely show up. Size 46exact measurements lying flat on the ground:armpit to armpit 24"shoulder to shoulder along back 19.75"length from the back top of collar to bottom hem 28"sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff 25"excellent condition, looks like it was rarely worn. on the back there is one small tear on a seam (see photo). aside from this tiny flaw, this jacket is VERY COOL LOOKING.
