Description: Vintage or Antique Woven Tapestry of painting "Madonna and Child With St. Martina" by Pietro da Cortona. We are not experts of tapestries. Not sure of material or exact age. May be silk or wool blend? Believe it was professionally framed about 50 years ago, but tapestry looks older to me. Don't know maker of tapestry. Did not remove from frame to look for markings. Took photos with different lighting, to try to help show condition. Outside frame measures 20 3/4" X 15 3/4". Inside frame measures about 16" X 11". May be some fading and wear to tapestry. Frame has some wear at corners, and could use cleaning. Paper on back needs replacing. .Please see photos. Note: last photo is of the original painting, found online. Free local pickup.
