Makes a buzzing sound and can hear audible static on speaker when volume and noise limiter dials adjusted. All dials turn nicely. Crystal dial snaps into each position as expected. Metal case in good shape for age: Some edge wear, one screw missing on top plate, no major rust, dents, or deformities. Some soiling from age and storage. Sounds like it does everything except pick up a signal....but difficult to test fully without antenna and with limited expertise Power cord works and appears to be in good shape for age: not brittle, no kinks or cracks in sheathing Sits nicely flat on four bottom feet Case measures 11 3/4" wide by 6 7/8" deep by 5" tall No Microphone but has microphone clip on left side
