Description: This is an empty white milk glass jar with metal screw lid that previously held Menthol Camphor Ointment. It was made by the J.R. Watkins Medical Company in the 1910’s/1920’s. There is minimal wear on the paper label. This would make a great addition to any collectors of J.R. Watkins as well as anyone collecting old medicinal jars. The J.R. Watkins Company was founded in 1868 and today continues to sell household products (home and health remedies as well as baking products). Many people still remember the Watkins man who came door to door in a horse-drawn wagon traveling around the countryside many decades ago.
