THE DESIGNS ARE FOR THE MAN: BLACK HAT WITH RIBBONS, DARK NAVY BLUE SUIT, WOODEN SHOES AND A NOSEGAY GIFT IN HIS HAND; LADY IS WEARING DARK NAVY BLUE LONG SLEEVED DRESS, REDDISH APRON, HAT WITH STREAMERS, WOODEN SHOES AND THEY APPEAR TO BE DANCING. THE GLAZED YELLOWARE IS HIGHLIGHTED BY THE NAVY BLUE SPONGE DESIGN AROND THE BORDER. CUPS: BEAUTIFUL WHITE CUPS WITH MATCHING YELLOW RIM AROUND THE TOP, BEAUTIFUL STYLIZED FOLK DESIGN WITH NAVY BLUE, GREEN, RUST AND TIPPED WITH COLOR MATCHING THE RIMS. SIGNED: "GL". I PURCHASED THESE IN THE 1970S AND NOW I AM NOT SURE THEY ARE "QUIMPER" BUT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, HIGH QUALITY, SMOOTH GLAZED AND I LOVE THEM WITH THE SET. THEY ARE ALSO HAND PAINTED DESIGN AND SUPERIOR COLORS. THERE ARE SIX (6) PLATES THAT ARE 3" IN DIAMETER AND EIGHT (8) CUPS. I UNDERSTAND THE "HENRIOT QUIMPER" CHILD'S TEASETS WERE NEVER MARKED. THE BEAUTIFUL YELLOW WARE IS PERFECT FOR THE HAND PAINTED DESIGNS AND I HAVEN'T SEEN MANY PIECES OF YELLOW WARE THAT I DIDN'T LIKE.
