Description: These are paper bread end labels. Before bread loaves came in plastic bags, they were sold wrapped in wax paper, and sealed with a paper label on the ends. These labels were lightly gummed (sort of like a "Post-It Note") so they could be removed and replaced a few times. Many companies used character labels, like these. Offered here are five labels from "Dumbo." They are minor "supporting characters", and include: a Clown, Monkey, Bear, Tiger and Kangaroo. All five labels are marked: "Copyright WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS." Each label measures 2 & 3/4 inches square. They are in FAIR to GOOD condition. The FRONTS display well, with some wear to the edges & corners, soiling and a few light creases. The BACKS are soiled and yellowed. They all still display nicely.
