Description: This listing is for a vintage Whiting & Davis wristlet purse. Age is unknown. Metal frame is marked - Whiting & Davis Co mesh bags Made in USA. Approximate size is 4" across at the bottom and 4" from the top edge of the frame to the bottom of the bag. The tear drop design that pops the purse open has rhinestones - 1 piece is missing just above the center tear drop stone and one stone just to the right of the missing one looks a bit dark to me. Hinges and closure work fine. Gold tone chain strap is in nice condition and has a 3 3/4" drop. Gold tone mesh is in nice condition but does have some areas with green. This purse has not been cleaned. Inside is cloth lined and has a cloth tag and is marked the same as the frame but has Trade Mark Reg.. Some of the stitching has come loose on one side. Local pick up is available. We use recycled packing whenever possible.
