Description: This is a 1 chance in a lifetime deal.... this is a pair of personal shoes from Dean Moons etate. he died and these were sold to my friend whom was a famous race car driver and kept them in his collection for years and I wound up with them..... these were purchased right after Dean died and the story is that Van doren was searching for new ideas and avenues of business for VANS and he told Dean he would make a pair to see how it went and nothing ever materialized ..... these are prototypes or samples ..... they were purchased from "dan donahue" that worked at mooneyes.... if you look at the business card you'll see there is no www. Or any internet address which tells you this deal was done long before there was internet or anything just so you have frame of reference.... again this is the story I was told ... my friend is a solid and amazing man so there is no reason for embellishments.... if any questions lemme know these belong in the VAN DOREN MUSEUM and or the MOONEYES franchise i have no clue if this is fictional or what just what I've been told so you do your research.... at any rate these are red heel tag and rare as all heck
