This decal is a rare find, made in the United States and a unique piece of history. The Meyercord Company was established in 1896 by George Meyercord in Chicago, IL. Meyercord Co. started out as a decal manufacturer and eventually made a name for themselves as an advertising sign maker as well. The later signs they made were wood veneer and milk glass. The decal appears that someone in time laminated it to protect it from the elements. As old as the decal is, it would have most likely been lost to time had someone not done that but it displays very well and kept the original colors vibrant. Thank you kindly for viewing our listing.
