Description: Vintage from the 1960s, Length: 1 5/8 Inches; Width: 1 Inch Mid-century. Wonderful hand carved bone/horn Chinese brooch with remarkable detail, has an intricate filigree border. Hand painted scene features what looks like a rice paddy sailboat, moving in the water with flowing grasses and trees. The upper left has Chinese characters painted in black and signed in red. Rear has a 1" silver finish pin back with a well-functioning snug "C" closure. Overall condition is excellent with no signs of wear.
