Baisen was born in Kyoto in 1889, and graduated at Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts in 1906. In 1907, he was accepted at the Bunten art exhibition. Some light crease, light marks, and foxing are present on the painting, otherwise it is in good condition.Some marks, crease, and foxing are present on the scroll mounting. It is accompanied by an original paulownia wood storage box with the artist’s signature.
