Vintage Herend of Hungary Oversized Cup and Saucer with Flowers and Fruit

Description: A lovely oversized cup and saucer are both marked Herend 1946 on the reverse. The set features flowers and fruit. I am not quite sure of the actual pattern name on this set. The cup is a flat cup with a smooth surface, no braiding noted. The front of the cup features pretty hand painted flowers in rust, purple and pink with green leaves. The back and sides have small sprays of fruit and flowers. The inside of the cup is a high gloss white and has little painted leaves here and there. The trim on the rim and handle is brown. The cup measures about 2 1/4" high. The opening at the top is about 4" wide. The matching saucer has the flowers on one side and little fruit, flowers and leaves scattered here and there. Again, brown trim on the rim. Measures about 5 3/4" wide. The underside of the saucer also has little green leaves scattered on each side. A truly lovely tea/coffee set to enjoy your coffee or tea. Also, makes a lovely gift to someone special. Combined shipping is always welcome when it is possible. Most of my items are vintage in nature and I have had for years. These fees are not included in the price of the item nor the shipping costs. I packed very well to make sure the item is received in one piece. I usually ship within 2 business days. If I am off the next day, I will ship then. Of course, payment has to be received first. All items are inspected prior to packing. I ship priority to get the insurance and if it is not enough, I will pay for the additional insurance if needed.
