To me, it is in excellent vintage condition, meaning gently worn and well taken care of - wear consistent with age. This is not a new necklace. From my experience as a kid growing up in the 70s with my own Puka necklace they were worn all the time - like ALL the time!!! Being shells, there may be slight imperfections which give them character. Please carefully look over my images as you will be getting the exact necklace in this listing. I did not clean or polish the necklace. I know some folks like some patina so I leave polishing and cleaning up to the discretion of the buyer. I also did not want to ruin them with today’s harsh cleaners.
