Vintage Girard Perregaux "Turler" Cal. 20- 17J Adj., Manual Wind!

Description: A beautiful and rare 1960 Girard Perregaux "Turler" Model with its original Adjusted Cal., "20" movement. A refinished dial with its "Turler" name included would greatly add to its collectability and value. I would Never advice adding the name "Turler" to the dial unless it was there to begin with and that was the reason why I set this timepiece aside for as many years as I did. It may or could have had a "GP" crown at one time, hard to say. When Master Watchmakers back in the day serviced watches it was Nothing for them to discard a signed crown in the servicing of a watch and add a shiny new crown. :( I would certainly recommend an inspection, cleaning & lubrication and after that, wear it occasionally, wipe it down clean with a jewelers cloth and put it away in a safe place for another day of enjoyment!
