Description: For sale is a very nice 48 oz Mason fruit jar patent November 30th 1858. This also has the Keystone at the top, which makes it very rare. To the best of my knowledge, this is very scarce, and among the first of these jars to be made. Also included is the zinc lid shown Dash in very nice condition, along with the rubber seal. The straw measure is just under 9 days tall and just about four and a half inches wide at the base. As stated, it holds approximately 48 fluid ounces. As seen at the top, there are some chips, but there are no cracks or breaks apparent. There are a few bubbles, but nothing that stands out significantly. On the bottom of this jar is either a 9 or a six, I tend to believe it's a 9. If you happen to be a collector of these jars, I have a large number. I'd be interested in putting together a lot listing at a discounted price, but not so cheap as wholesale - I like them myself. I'm aware of this listing may be priced on the high side, but I need to do more research on what the values of each of these jars are worth, and what the numbers on the bottom mean. Please watch this listing for offers to be sent, and price drops to follow. This listing will ship by fully insured mail by the carrier of my choice - likely USPS. Please message me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
