Description: Greetings vintage audio lovers and Altec / JBL fans and collectors ! For you consideration is a pair of Altec H-811B horns fitted with JBL 2425J compression drivers. The horns are in great condition ! The drivers are marked 16 ohm, but test 6.1 and 6.6 ohms respectively. I suspect the diaphragm’s were replaced with 8 ohm but I have no way of confirming that. I hooked them up and did a sound check using a filter cap and they sound great ! Please, look closely at the attached images as they are a part of the description and help provide a good idea as to the condition of this item.
