Description: Soft, flowy green dress with pintucking below a lovely tone-on-tone embroidered breast panel. It has two attached fabric bands for tying around the waist. Acquired in Pakistan in the early 1980s, so it’s at least 40 years old, but it has not been worn at all since then. Sleeves are 22” long. Length from back neckline to hem is 53”, width across front at underarms is 16”, so would best fit a tall, slender person. No zippers or buttons, so would have to be pulled on over the head. Unbuttoned, the neck dimensions are 6.5” by 9”.The dress is structurally sound, but there are discolorations in the fabric (see photos). It has been recently washed in cold water, delicate cycle, and hung to dry. Of course it's your call as to whether the discolorations would affect your enjoyment of the dress, but to me they were not obvious unless one is searching for them and/or the garment is in motion.
