Description: After an Off-Broadway run, this electrifying show opened on Broadway in 1996 and ran until 1999. The show's star was tap legend Savion Glover. He describes his style as "young and funk," which gave the show its name. The window card is signed by Glover. The signature is authentic and is not a reproduction or a stamp. After seeing the show and being absolutely awestruck by Glover's performance, I purchased this window card from a Broadway theater store the next day. I happened to be walking past the theater that afternoon with the window card in hand just as Glover was arriving for rehearsal. He stopped to chat and we had a brief conversation. I gave him rave reviews, and he was both humble and gracious. He signed my window card before ducking into the theater for rehearsal. The window card is in very good condition, showing creases at two corners. The colors are still bright and vivid. Glover's signature is large and sweeping. The signature is a bit light because of the pen he used, but not faded. The window card is printed on sturdy, cardboard stock and measures 14" x 22". The window card has been previously displayed unframed and two adhseives are still attached to the back. They can be easily removed, but I'll leave that to the discretion of the buyer. Thanks for looking. I value your interest and will be glad to answer your questions. Please take a moment to look at the other vintage items, including Broadway window cards, in our store.
