Description: Offered for sale is a used Alpine Designs backpack. This was purchased used in about 1975. It was used maybe once or twice since that summer. I see no tears in the fabric. All of the zippers work. It is a fairly comfortable backpack to hike with when using the padded hip belt. The pack itself (not the frame) is 15"x24"x7-8" deep. The frame is 36" tall. It weighs 4# - 4oz. It has been stored indoors all these years in a climate-controlled environment. This definitely has some life left in it! This would be a great starter backpack for a young hiker deciding whether they like hiking or not. Thank you for looking.
