VINTAGE 1959 #1 PONYTAIL BARBIE BLONDE W/ ORIG SILHOUETTE BOX & STAND, T.M!

Description: This all-original 1959 ponytail Barbie doll retains most of her vinyl color! This blonde Barbie is as nice as they come! Could she be any more stunning? Barbie has hint of cheek color on her left cheek! She comes with a very rare, silhouette box! The top of the box is ripped along one edge and the bottom flap of it is missing. The bottom portion of the box is in much better shape but does have one edge tear and some blemishes. Nonetheless, it’s the original silhouette box and it is marked T.M.! The dimensions of the box are 11 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 1 3/4. Barbie comes with her original bathing suit, booklet, and sunglasses also. The sunglasses are in working order but the right arm is looser than the left arm. Her hair is still in the original top wrap and remnants of the original rubberband is still there on the underside. Her bangs are pretty much perfect! The only flaw I see with Barbie is that at some point, the top layer of her hair in the ponytail was cut so there are a few shorter pieces of her hair. It appears that the bottom of the ponytail was never cut. Please see picture for you own assessment on condition. Her exquisite face paint shows no wear and once again, is all original, never modified. Her finger and toenails show no chipping and her nail polish is superb. Her joints are as they should be, not too tight and not too loose. Her neck is also good! Her left leg is just slightly longer than her right due to the shifting over time. On her right foot, top and bottom, there are some stains/markings from the shoes that were worn at some point. The metal tubes remain in her feet, the left leg’s tube is more prominent than the right. Her Japan marking on her right foot is horizontal. I know, she just gets better and better! The Barbie TM stand has some chips out of it. Please see pictures for your own assessment. It is marked JAPAN with the Mattel logo on the back. The metal prongs are very secure and in working order.
