Description: This is a Vintage 1956/57 Orange Mighty Tonka Road Grader State Hi-Way Department Pressed Steel Truck. The decal is on the top of the front frame member. This grader measures approximately 17” long x 7” wide x 7 ½” tall. This Tonka toy is in excellent condition for its age. The wheels move as intended. All of the wheels have their original hub caps. There are 6 rubber wheels marked “Tonka Toys -- Made in USA”. The steering wheel swivels and steers the front wheels of the grader. The right front wheel has a small piece of rubber missing. See the close-up photo. There is a red facsimile “light” on top of the grader. There is no exhaust stack. The two “State Hi-Way Dept.” decals on both sides are original, readable and in excellent condition. This is a very heavy and well-built vintage toy. There are several rust and scratch marks due to its age and “played-with” condition. This is a “played-with” toy. Sold “as pictured/as seen”. See the photos and judge the condition for yourself.
