Description: This vintage 1950's jewelry box is a beautiful piece that will add a touch of elegance to any room. The black lacquer finish and intricate Asian design featuring a geisha girl make it a unique and timeless piece. Made in Japan, this box is a true representation of Japanese culture and artistry. The box is perfect for storing jewelry, trinkets, or even small keepsakes. Its size and shape are ideal for display on a dresser table or shelf. The wind up function plays music and turns the wheels of the rickshaw when the main lid is opened. A light within the box no longer works. This took 2 C batteries ( not included), I cannot get it to work. This piece has a few small dents/scratches. The corner of one of the drawers has an area where the paint is chipped/ missing. The handle of the other drawer has damages. Please see pictures.
