Description: 1940's PAKE MUU DRESSby MALIHINI Stunning and rare ~~ a Vintage 1940's Hawaiian Pake Muu dress by MALIHINI with kimono-style bat sleeves, mandarin collar with front frog neck closure, and an 11" Talon side zipper. Dress is fitted and the rayon fabric has no give. Rayon in a deep red and true black with gray and white tropical Monstera Leaves Sleeves are lined in black rayon 10" kick panels on each side, edged in black rayon (see photo #5) Measurements: Chest: 34" Waist: 24" Hips: 34" Shoulders: 18" Length center back collar to hem: 52" Length underarm to hem: 44" In very nice condition, with a few small issues. There is some pulling of the fabric at bottom of neck opening (photo #7). Please see photos #8-11 for pinholes and an area where there are tiny white spots (not holes). There may be a few other tiny pinholes I missed. The fabric and seams are strong and tight, and there is no fading. Photos 2, 6 & 12 have a bit of sun glare which distorts the red color - there is no fading there. This dress isn't perfect, but it is lovely!
