Cosmetics of the orange and green vinyl covered case are fair to good overall with some tears, scratches, stains, rubs here and there and most noticeable is the old leather handle is missing. Notice some of the vinyl on the face stuck/separated to the edge of the usually missing front cover. Also notice loose vinyl here/there and wear and stains on the front cover. The often missing swing down/removable back is still there but the AC cord is missing. The two antennas are not original. Be sure to see all the photos below the description including many close-up shots. The complete chassis looks to be mostly all-original with some very old replacement parts/repairs and definitely has some replacement tubes. I made the high voltage cage cover out of matching but much thinner, anodized aluminum shim. Cosmetics of the whole chassis are very good overall. I did not test the electronics or any of tubes but did test the RCA 7JP4 picture tube. Sencore CR70 Test: H-K Shorts - Good, G1 Shorts - Low/Bad, Cutoff - Low/Bad, Emissions - Good and the Life Test is Low/Bad. Pin #12 is loose, tube lighted to medium bright on a working chassis. It might respond to G1 short jolt or rejuvunation, I will leave that up to the buyer should they want to chance reviving this tube. It still holds its vacuum and displays well with no scratches on the face. I am selling this TV and all its parts as-is, display only, not working, for parts and repair, no returns for any reason. The important thing is the chassis appears to be all there with no known missing electronic parts so it is valuable as a true antique or can be restored if desired.. TV measures 11 3/4” tall, 18 3/4” wide, 18 1/2” deep and weighs 34 lb. Box will measure 16” tall, 23” wide, and 23” deep and weigh 40 lb. when packed. Good, strong packing supplies/boxes including 2” thick hard Styrofoam to line the boxes, UPS or FedEx Ground shipping will cost $125.00. The pictures below are of the actual vintage TV I am selling.
