The emerald is a brilliant green, and it is surrounded by 20 sparkling diamonds. Little bars of gold extend from the center outward in this slightly tiered mounting, with natural diamonds at the border. This ring is not huge--but it's definitely sure to be noticed on the hand with the lovely color contrast of the emerald with the sparkling diamonds! The emerald measures 3.5 mm (about .20 ctw) and the 20 very white fiery diamonds add an additional .30 ctw for a total of about .50 ctw in this ring. The face measures 1/2" north to south by 5/8" east to west. The head rises 1/4" off the hand. It is hallmarked 14k, weighs 3.2 grams, is a size 5 and is in excellent vintage condition.
