Description: US WWI 1917 dated poncho made by United States Rubber Co. Condition is very good and pliable. The fabric covering the seams has come loose in two places but no big deal the great majority of the seams are intact. By all the buttons it looks like it was designed to join with other ponchos to make a bigger shelter. The hole for the head is designed to button down closed for making the shelter also.
