Two JACK MCDUFF LP's -- Prestige 7323 & 7259 -- DYNAMIC JACK McDUFF & Screamin'

Description: This lot contains two 12-inch 33 RPM LP's featuring "Brother" Jack McDuff, both on the Prestige label. In the order shown in the pictures, they are: Prestige LP # 7323 is "The Dynamic Jack McDuff" by the Brother Jack McDuff Quartet with the Big Band of Benny Golson. It is mono and I see no date on it, but the important parts of the sleeve notes are hidden because the gatefold cover is still in its original shrinkwrap. The record looks to be in heavily played condition, still nice and shiny, but with some visible surface scuffs and scratches. I've played both sides on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were varying degrees of audible background crackle throughout, much of light and unobtrusive, but including some pops and clicks and ticking. PLUS, a few forward jumps (no repeats) on both sides. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. The gatefold cover is in solid and functional condition, with the seams all intact and still in its original shrinkwrap. And it comes with a plain white inner sleeve. Prestige Records LP # PRST-7259 is "Screamin'" by Brother Jack McDuff (with Leo Wright, Kenny Burrell and Joe Dukes). It is stereo and undated and was recorded by Rudy van Gelder. It looks to be in about VG+ condition, still beautifully shiny, but with a few surface scuffs and scratches, most of them on Side Two. It plays through without jumping or repeating on my Audio-Technica turntable, and mostly with only lightly audible background noise, but some occasional clicks or pops or ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. The cover is in solid and functional condition, with the seams all intact and just typical surface rubbing and edge wear, and it comes with an unbranded inner sleeve.
