Description: An original 1st press <>> copy of QUAD on Uk TRACK. Matrix A1/B1 -- A1/B2 [With Inverted Delta & S2 MCA]. Definitely do seek out a 1st issue copy...there is a MASSIVE difference with later pressings. Ok, so it goes without saying - these are near master copies...that is certainly a good place to start. But the flat labelled matt copies are pressed heavy and the audio rolling off these copies just totally nails this release. You just will NEVER get this sort of rendition from later copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue soft-card cover. As a result of the way they were constructed many copies are knackered by this point in time. So, it makes a nice change to see a decent quality example. Book pages all intact in the interior. Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few very slight markings...a couple of slightly more noticeable -- but nothing troublesome or heavy. But do not expect perfect smooth lustre surfaces...A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one minor deviation per side.. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Perhaps some slight presence in one brief spot per side.... but nothing upfront or unpalatable. A couple of minute ticks in that slow roll into SEA...but barely worth talking about...Literally nothing gets in the way of this rendition which is high quality through and through. Cover (Vg+) Nice clean surfaces - this original title is a right pain to find in decent condition. Slight surface wear and a but round the edges but nothing too bad really. The spine is 80% intact with text legible and some wear. Inner booklet and pages in really superb condition...it looks like someone's done a good tidy job of securing the booklet inside. Which is very nice to see. Inner (Vg+) Ok...not sure these are originals though.
