Description: The Return of Frank James was a film produced and released by 20th Century Fox in 1940. It was a follow-up to the 1939 film, Jesse James. Frank was the older brother of Jesse. Jesse (portrayed by Tyrone Power) was shot and killed by a gang member at the end of the Jesse James film. This film was so popular that 20th made the Return of Frank James film. Henry Fonda again played Frank James as he had in the Jesse James film. This half-sheet poster is from the 1951 re-release of the 1940 film. The artwork of the original 1940 film seems to havebeen used again for the 1951 release. The poster is in overall very good condition, especially the image. There is some border roughness to some of the border in the top border and especially the bottom left corner. There are a few small pinholes present also, There is a small chip out in the upper left corner. The design is excellent and the color is outstanding. The colors are true to the way it was issued 72 years ago. Upon receipt of funds, it will be rolled and mailed in a tube and sent securely and in quick time.
