Description: c. 1944, stated 10th Edition. Published during World War II for officers of the United States Army. Contains 553 numbered pages with in-depth index. Illustrated with color plates, line drawings, photos, charts and lists. One brief section of text is printed on a different paper ~ I assume wartime paper restrictions made its use necessary [see photos]. This antique hardcover book is in good condition. Other than a single page, there are no text notes, margin writings or underlinings. An owner's name and cartouche stamp inside front and back covers. It is NOT ex-library. Spine and binding are complete and all pages are secure; hinges are loosening but still attached. Pages are generally clean with very light finger wear and no stains. Some edge and corner wear to illustrated cover boards. Book is very attractive and displays beautifully. Please view all photos and ask questions before bidding.
