Description: Oversized hardcover….10” x 12.5”. 528 pages. Beautiful cover, fairly clean exterior. Good binding, corner bumps, minor edge wear. Light scattered foxing on the first few and last few pages. While almost non-existent on the interior pages, there is an occasional small spot. Small, light damp stain top of the first page after the table of contents. Previous owner’s signature on the title page. The amount of illustrations in this book is tremendous. Lots of in text and full page images. Popular artists of the time include Dore’, Rosetti, Edward Burne Jones, other pre-Raphaelites, and others from earlier periods such as Velasquez, etc.. The table of contents is very large and deserves a good reading. And along with the illustrations list, runs to six pages. Overall condition of the book is easily good+ approaching very good.
