The glass is clean, but there is some internal dust. The zoom rotation is slightly stiff. Includes both end caps (not original) and an aftermarket hood. I mounted the lens on a digital SLR and took the photos of the hummingbird in the listing. This lens does not have a built in motor and will NOT autofocus with some Nikon DSLRs (Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D5000, D5100, and D5200 digital cameras are some).
