The reflectorless measurements of up to 3,280' range are possible when the brightness at object surface is 500 lux or less, regardless of ambient brightness conditions. Sokkia's RED-tech 800 EDM provides increased accuracy and range in distance measurements with or without reflectors, incorporating the new optical design, the enhanced signal processing algorithm, as well as the ultra-high signal modulation. The RED-tech 800 provides measurement accuracy of 1.5mm + 2ppm with 360 degree; prisms or standard prisms, and 2mm + 2ppm without a reflector. Using a single prism the SRX will measure up to 19,600 feet. The onboard computer, with a bright, full-colors touch-screen display, and faster servo motor technology improve field productivity. With SRX, you can smoothly continue measurement even if the buildings, trees or passing traffic interrupt the line of sight. Even the roughest terrain poses no problem for SRX. Just pay attention to your footing and SRX will do the rest. If the prism lock be lost, press measurement key and the RC-PR4 controller automatically call the SRX and recovers the target lock without missing the beat. If SRX caught sighting of another reflective object, the on demand remote control system quickly returns it to the prism. Recovery and measurement are accomplished with a push of the button. SRX5X configuration includes all necessary components to complete a one-man robotic surveying system. Long range built-in radios, Ranger 3 data collector with Survey Pro software, all wireless communication and well thought-out accessories form a surveying package that will increase your productivity while reducing labor costs.
