Description: How Could You Do That?!: The Abdication of Character, Courage, and Conscience, by New York Times bestselling author (this is the 2nd of 18 books written) and popular internationally syndicated radio talk show host, Dr. Laura Schlessinger. 1996 hardcover book with the original dust jacket, HarperCollins NY, printed in the United States, stated 1st edition, 1st printing (full number sequence present on copyright page), SIGNED, inscribed and personalized by hand on the half title page. The book measures approximately 8 1/2" by 5 3/4" by 1" thick, 269 numbered pages. I consider this book to be in overall good to very good overall vintage pre-owned condition with the following noted flaws: The pages and text block edges show typical age-toning; the dust jacket shows minor wear including slightly crimped edges and a few surface scratches/abrasions; there is a thin vertical ink line on the rear dust jacket inner flap; the binding is "creaky" when the book is opened; very minor scrape/fading at the bottom of the rear board and slight shelf wear along the board edges. The dust jacket has been fitted with a new clear mylar protector which is not permanently affixed and can be easily removed if desired. Please take a moment to view all photographs provided for additional representation of condition, as well as unique and specific book characteristics. Thank you for looking!
