Description: USED Shure SM 58 microphone. With so many counterfeit versions on the market, it is hard to sell these for their going value. IF it's sold as new for UNDER $50, you KNOW it is a fake. Same with the used ones for $30. These are $100 microphones that hold their values. If you know how to tell the differences between counterfeits and real, you will see these are the real deal. Look at the weight...typically 320-230 grams, while fakes will be much less, 250 grams or less. The windscreen will be 45 grams with a DULL finish in grey, while the counterfeits will weigh less and be shiny in appearance. Unscrewing the capsule, the foam will be as shown and is grey and WITHOUT a warning sticker that almost all the fakes will attach. Lastly is the sound, but of course thru Ebay, you cannot verify the great vocal sound these are known for. Also holding one, you'll just know. It feel better built. I do not have the boxes unfortunately, which are long gone. The purchaser just bought them and threw them away, not knowing the serial numbers were on the boxes. OK..after that rambling, understand I am unloading microphones that were used in a small setting for group singing and lectures and are in very nice condition for being used. Since I run a studio, I already have many microphones and don't need 5 of these SM-58 anymore. These DO NOT have the on/off switches. Snap these originals up while they last.
