Comes with genuine OEM remote, batteries, and brand new set of composite cables! This VCR will decode NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL-M, and PAL-N formats! It is also equipped with SQPB which means it can decode S-VHS! This unit is in good shape! All of this said, it's important to know that it is used and will show signs of use. This not only saves you money, but also keeps perfectly good stuff out of the landfill! All service and repairs are completed using the manufacturers service manual. Anything that is not functioning or is out of spec is repaired or replaced. Every function is then tested prior to listing. Don't just take my word for it, read my feedback! Samsung (as well as other brands) look nearly identical but it is important to know that if the model numbers are different then the capabilities or features are different. I am more than happy to resolve any potential issues, but receiving your item and realizing that its not compatible with your TV or set-up is not considered a defective device! Service completed prior to listing: - Mode control switch has been inspected, cleaned, and greased - Back tension has been corrected. - Video heads have been cleaned. - Audio heads have been cleaned. - Control head has been cleaned. - Erase head has been cleaned. - Tape path has been aligned using a color bar tape with tone (SP) using an oscilloscope. - Pinch roller assembly has been serviced. - All gears have been greased. - A total of 23 capacitors have been replaced due to high ESR. - Fuse was replaced (I do this with every unit) - All solder joints have been inspected and many touched up. - All functions, inputs, and outputs have been tested and are working.
