Description: Selected Poems by William Wordsworth. Edited and introduced by Nicholas Roe. Engravings by Peter Reddick. Quarter-bound in dark green leather with cloth boards. 495pp. 28x18.8cm. William Wordsworth (1770–1850) was a major English Romantic poet who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature. The words ‘Daffodils’ and ‘Wordsworth’ go hand in hand with each other. The most famous poem in the English language was composed in 1804, two years after Wordsworth saw the flowers while walking by Ullswater on a stormy day with Dorothy, his sister. His inspiration for the poem came from an account written by Dorothy. Please look closely at the photos as they are part of the description. Will wrap and pack very carefully. Will post worldwide.
