The deluxe touches make it a pleasure to play. When it’s your turn, just turn the board to face you. The raised gold squares on the game board surface keep every letter in place so you don’t have to constantly make adjustments to the spelled words. Every single faux ivory letter tile is here, as is every piece of the game, including instructions and the entire thick pad of score sheets because I’ve only used it a couple of times. There are a few tiny flaws on the board that are shown in photos. The folks at Parker Brothers and Hasbro didn’t do a good job in making a decent box for this game, however. It’s thin cardboard and it came apart. I taped it up with clear strong tape before I found out how much downsizing I need to do and figured out that I need to sell it. So, the original 2004 box is pretty taped up, but it’s certainly stronger than when I first got it. See photos. It’s so heavy! I weighed and measured it with packing materials and checked the shipping costs. This is NOT an inflated shipping cost. I’ve checked it. Box measures almost 20 x 20 x 6 inches and weighs more than 13 pounds—so it has to ship for 14 pounds.
