Description: This is a very large Archaic 3/4 groove axe made out of a Gabbro stone. Awesome in size and workmanship. Angular lines, thin profile. 12 inches long. Edges are fluted, giving the ridges at frontof groove a four point effect. Really fine axe for serious collectors of axes. Axes of this size and condition are very, very rare. I believe they were made as offerings to departed leaders. Blunted bit, not meant for use, size would prevent use. 12" long, 5 1/4" wide, 2 3/4" thick Pictures demonstrate authenticity. If you lack the knowledge to determine the authenticity of this artifact, 14 day right of inspection.
