Description: This very rare, and coveted pen was designed by Retro 51, especially for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's, Platinum Jubilee Celebration. There were only 700 made and this is #557. I am the original owner and I purchased it from the UK. These were only sold by UK dealers. The pen design has very special meaning. It is based on the dress worn by Queen Elizabeth II, at the State Opening of Parliament on 21st April 1966, which was also the Queen’s 40th birthday. This dress was trimmed with duchess satin and encrusted with diamanté which you can see is reflected in the barrel of the Jubilee pen, acid etched with a drop pearl effect, and painted in a special pearlescent finish. It has an extra special platinum trim which gives a delicately warm accent to the pen with the official Platinum Jubilee 2022 emblem on the top disc, finishing off the pen beautifully. The emblem has its own meaning, designed by Edward Roberts, 19. To say this might be the ultimate holiday gift for any avid pen collector is still an understatement! These are incredibly rare and hard to find so grab it while you can!
