I understand they’re made of a blend of crushed pecan shells and it looks kind of like a wood carving. It is very well made After being made, Grant and Lincoln were lacquered and highlighted by hand. I have taken pictures of the rear base of the statute and you can see the year the mold was made and the number of each statute. They are about 9 inches tall. Grant and Lincoln‘s names are engraved on the rear base. The makers name “ Chastain” is also engraved. This company is now out of business. In my opinion, they are definitely a collectors dream I think I have priced them very fairly for both. Thank you. John
