All failed and prone to failure solder joints have been addressed. Cassette mechanism has been fully serviced and works great as well. Button contacts resurfaced. New bulbs. Bluetooth Operation Notes: * Bluetooth connection ID: HW_BT * After the first time you connect your phone to the radio via Bluetooth….the radio will auto connect to your phone via Bluetooth each time you start the car or turn the key to accessory * While connected to the radio via bluetooth and switched to FM…. #5 preset button toggles between FM audio and bluetooth audio. * This is a music/audio Bluetooth streaming device(YouTube, Pandora, etc)….not hands free calling with a dash mic Plug and play for 94 95 96 F-series trucks and broncos with the premium audio package(see last pic). Also plug and play for 97 F350 & F250hd w/ premium audio. Note: Does not fit trucks or broncos with standard audio(see last pic) 3 year warranty . What I have observed over the last few years of repairing hundreds of these radios: These units suffer from capacitor plague. The electrolytic capacitors are prone to failure at this age. There is typically around 5 capacitors leaking acid thereby damaging circuit traces and solder pads. This is why these radios are notorious for failing. The leaking capacitors eventually cause the radio to malfunction or die and makes repairs for even well equipped professionals difficult and time consuming. Without human intervention these radios will be nearing 100% failure rate over the next decade mainly due to capacitor failure. For this reason I replace all these capacitors on all these radios I service effectively giving the radios a new lease on life.
