Nathaniel Barstow was a jewelery manufacturer. He applied for the patent on this Swivel Tea stainer in 1910. The Nathaniel Barstow & Company of Providence, Rhode Island, was closed in 1917 due to the declining health of Nathaniel Barstow. This Swivel Tea Strainer was produced sometime between 1910 and 1917. The Strainer is stamped "Patented NBCO March 1910".
