They add some sparkle and intense color without being overwhelming. Each has a pearl luster to them that is present on both sides, unlike some of the pearled papers available today. The white, sky, fawn, silver and gold would definitely enhance any quilled wedding invitation. The darker ones such as the tarnished copper, onyx, and blue would be great to add to those cards and pictures you create with masculine themes. If you have had the opportunity to see or use some of these beautiful papers as they come in multi packs you have probably found that one or more have become your favorites. Now you can have individual colors in regular solid color packs. Please keep in mind that the specialty papers come in colors that will blend and accent well with all the other regular quilling paper colors however they are separate and distinct colors unto themselves. Combining them with other papers or complimenting with them will add a touch of elegance to any of your quilling creations. I have chosen to display each color using fringe flowers as an example along with a flat strip because this is the best way to show the intensity, texture, and richness of these papers. Hopefully you will be able to appreciate the beauty of each color from the scanned image.
