Description: This auction is for a book titled The Snodgrass Site of the Powers Phase of Southeast Missouri. The authors are James Price and James Griffin, 1979. This is Anthropological Papers, Museum of Anthropology, University of Michigan, No. 66. This report describes the results of excavations at the Snodgrass Site which in Bulter County, MO, far southwest corner. The county seat of Butler County is Poplar Bluff, MO. Please see the second and third scans for the Table of Contents. There are many maps showing the layout of houses within the "fort" area with indications to show the artifacts recovered in each house. There are several photo illustrations of artifacts. Softcover. 6 by 9 inches, 188 pages. Good condition. Any shadows on the scans were created by my scanner and my reluctance to mash the book flat and possibly damage the spine.
